Rubik's Cube WD40

I know what you're thinking. The answer is no!

Do not try to use WD40 on your Rubik's cube. It will not lubricate it well. It will break it. It's worse for your cube than Vaseline.

Use silicon spray. You can get it almost everywhere that you can get WD40, but it will make your Rubik's Cube good and not break it. Like the WD40 would.

Rubik's Cube Walkthrough

If there is anything that's useless but still somehow popular, it's Rubik's Cube Walkthroughs. Here's why:

The whole idea of solving a rubik's cube is that you are able to solve it from every single possible situation. You just can't learn that in walkthroughs.

Does anyone see any merit in these walkthrough videos?
I just don't get them.

Rubik's Cube Weed Grinder

Yes, it's a thing.
Well, not technically.
Technically it's for pepper, not weed, but I think you can figure out how to use it for what ever you want it for.
You can buy it here for about 12 bucks, plus shipping.
A tad cheap, but at the end you have an awesome rubik's cube grinder!

Rubik's Cube World Record 6.77

I always here people say that the world record for Rubik's Cubes is 6.77 seconds, but that's wrong.

The record is 6.24 seconds. Sure, that record is kind of new and it was gotten by the same guy who got 6.77, but still. Get your facts right, people.

The Rubik's Cube world record is not 6.77 seconds. It's 6.24.

Rubik's Cube Wikihow

There is a bunch of instructions on wikihow for how to solve the cube, but they are kind of useless.

No offense to who ever wrote them of course.
It just can't really be explained like that.
If you want a good tutorial, look for badmephisto's on youtube.
Now that's quality teaching.

Much better than wikihow.

Rubik's Cube World Record 2011

As of the writing of this post, June 3rd of 2011, the world record for solving the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube is...

6.24 seconds.
That is really fast.
If you want to see the video, go to youtube and search "feliks world record".
The record holder is name Feliks.

Rubik's Cube Website

There are a lot of good Rubik's Cube Websites out there.

Some of my favorite websites are:
speedsolving.com
rubiks.com
and, strangely enough youtube.com

Now most people don't consider youtube to be a rubik's cube website, and it's clearly not, but there is a wonderful cubing community there, and it's really easy to learn stuff from videos.

Post your favorite Rubik's cube websites below if you want to share!
